Eddy Murphy handcuffed the Waco Branch Davidians at Waco Grounds, coming away with a 2-hit, complete game shutout.

"I had everything working for me out there," the Austin Chords right-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted."

With his stuff working, Murphy had little trouble with the Branch Davidians and led the Chords to victory, 2-0. He recorded 9 strikeouts and 5 walks in an impressive performance.
