Miller Spectacular in 5-0 Win
|
Chris Miller had an impressive outing at Baton Rouge Grounds, hurling the Baton Rouge Red Sticks to a 5-0 shutout victory over the Waco Branch Davidians.
"He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Waco skipper said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders."
On the day, the right-handed Miller yielded 2 hits and tallied 11 strikeouts with 3 walks.
So far this season, Miller has 10 wins and 5 losses and a 2.80 ERA.
