Billy Sawyer was in a mood to talk following the Alamogordo Broncos contest against the El Dorado Oilers, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Oilers, 4-0.

"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Sawyer said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."

The right-hander blanked El Dorado on a 3-hitter, allowing 5 walks and racking up 5 strikeouts.
