Manolo Rodríguez of the Casa Grande Cotton Kings humiliated the Medicine Hat Pills at Cotton Kings Ballpark, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 4 hits.

"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Medicine Hat manager , after the game.

Rodríguez whiffed 14 and walked 1 in the 1-0 win.

"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Rodríguez said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."

In 30 starts this season, Rodríguez has recorded a 19-5 record and a 2.01 ERA.
