15-K Game for Monks Ikarashi Wednesday, July 8th , 2015 Vancouver Monks starter Katsuyoshi Ikarashi brought his best stuff to Field of the 911s against the Reno 911s, striking out 15 batters in his club's 4-1 victory. In a strong performance, the 26-year-old Ikarashi gave up 7 hits in his 8 innings of work and issued 1 walk. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my cutter was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me." In 14 starts this season, Ikarashi has compiled a 3-9 record and a 5.10 ERA.
