Sioux City Blanks Brownsville, Price Winner Thursday, July 9th , 2015 The bats were ice cold for the Brownsville Impact at Norfolk Grounds. Sioux City Indians starter Jake Price kept the Impact cold all day, shutting them out, 6-0. In a fine outing, the 26-year-old hurler allowed 5 hits while striking out 11 and walking 2. "I'm not quite sure what was different today," Price admitted later. "I didn't feel like I was doing anything differently, but the results speak for themselves." So far this season, Price has logged a 7-8 record with a 3.28 ERA. He has started 18 games, hurled 131.2 innings and registered 140 strikeouts and 47 walks. View Boxscore |
