Amarillo Out of Playoff Race Monday, August 10th , 2015 Not even the most diehard Amarillo Cowboys fan thought the team had much chance at the playoffs this year. But now even the faintest hopes have been put to rest, as the Cowboys were mathematically eliminated from the postseason hunt today. Amarillo last appeared in the postseason in 1999. This is their 16th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 57 times in their 59-year history. Amarillo last won the Round 3 in 1999. |
