Vancouver Blanks Reno Behind Joseph

Vancouver Monks fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as Robin Joseph blanked the Reno 911s, 12-0, at Ballpark of Des Moines. Joseph stopped them on 4 hits while walking 1 and striking out 15.
"Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," Monks skipper said. "He was on top of his game in this one."
This season, Joseph has a 8-1 mark in 12 starts with a 1.69 ERA. He has given up 53 hits in 74.2 innings, struck out 107 and issued 13 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .198 batting average against him.
