Cowboys Get One to Win Monday, August 17th , 2015 Randy Hurst kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Amarillo Cowboys were all smiles after winning, 1-0, against the St. Paul Saints at Saints Ballpark. The right-handed Hurst gave up no runs in his start, permitted 8 hits, and tallied 8 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Hurst said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be." To date this season, Hurst has registered 26 starts, 9-8 won-lost mark, 2.19 ERA, 189 IP, 220 strikeouts and 43 walks. Opposing teams have hit .236 against him. View Boxscore |
