Riverside Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Saturday, August 29th , 2015 The Riverside Firebolts have a new opponent: mathematics. The Firebolts still have games to play in their disappointing 2015 campaign, but the numbers say they won't mean much -- the Firebolts were today mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the postseason. This is the club's 3rd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2012. In total, the Firebolts have missed the playoffs 49 times in their 59-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Firebolts have made the playoffs 3 times. Riverside last won the Round 3 in 1992. |
