Provo Beats Baton Rouge as Peoples Throws 3-0 Shutout Wednesday, August 6th , 2014 It wasn't easy but Michael Peoples made it look that way. Peoples silenced the Baton Rouge Red Sticks, 3-0, in a Provo Gulls triumph at Provo Grounds today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Peoples said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 1 walk and 3 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else."
