No Late-Season Magic Coming: Vancouver Out of Playoffs Thursday, September 3rd , 2015 Whether or not the Vancouver Monks would have been dangerous in the playoffs is now irrelevant. The team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Vancouver last appeared in the postseason in 2001. This is their 14th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 48 times in their 59-year history.
