Week's Premier Performer Honored by PCL AAA Monday, July 8th , 2013 Seiichi Nakano demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Pacific AAA Player of the Week Award. The Vancouver second baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .500 average (9-for-18) with 1 home run and 7 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This year Nakano has socked 63 hits in 267 at-bats for a .236 average with 7 home runs. He is getting on base at a .297 pace and his totals also include 32 RBIs and 23 runs scored. |
