Brownsville Crowned Kings of the Pioneer AAA AAA Pioneer North Wednesday, September 9th , 2015 The owner of the Brownsville Impact was front and center in the Brownsville Impact clubhouse tonight. With the team having just clinched the Pioneer AAA AAA Pioneer North, the owner came down to personally congratulate his players on the honor. "I know how hard they work every day for us, so it's hats-off to them," he said. "I know many owners probably prefer to stay up away from things, but I'm happy to celebrate this with these guys." Starting Pitcher Ira Bennett said after the franchise's 18th division title, he hopes they soon give the team's owner much more to celebrate. "We want to bring a championship back to Brownsville. The city and our fans deserve it," he said. A Round 3 win would be the team's 2nd BSBL Triple A championship. |
