Everhart Spins 2-0 Shutout Monday, September 14th , 2015 The Brownsville Impact were almost helpless in their 2-0 loss to the Baton Rouge Red Sticks and hurler James Everhart. Everhart kept the Impact confused all game, spinning a 5-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Everhart," Brownsville manager said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 22-year-old right-hander had 3 walks and 7 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Everhart said.
