Red Sticks Advance to Round 2 Wednesday, September 16th , 2015 Baton Rouge Red Sticks fans have Round 3 aspirations after the team downed the Brownsville Impact 3-1 in the Round 1. Baton Rouge clinched the series with a 2-1 win tonight at Ballpark of Brownsville. "We're tough to stop when we're playing well and we have a lot of momentum right now," said series MVP James Everhart. For the series, Everhart had a 0.00 ERA over 9 innings pitched, with a 1-0 record. The Baton Rouge Red Sticks don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Corpus Christi Hooks - Wichita Aviators series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
