Wichita Takes Round 1 Thursday, September 17th , 2015 Wichita Aviators won a nail-biting series against the Corpus Christi Hooks 3-2, wrapping up the Round 1 finale 5-2 at Ballpark of Wichita. Aviators second baseman Chris Price was named the series MVP. He batted .444, drove in 2 runs and scored 2 to lead Wichita into the next round of play. "Chris was real solid for us, real solid," said Aviators manager . "I normally say I'd like to have nine of him out there, but thankfully we got by with just one this time." The Wichita Aviators will play against the Baton Rouge Red Sticks in the next round. Baton Rouge won their series against the Brownsville Impact 3 games to 1.
