Foresters Advance to Round 3 Tuesday, September 22nd , 2015 The Santa Barbara Foresters bandwagon is filling up fast, as the team has moved one step closer to winning a Round 3 championship. Santa Barbara downed the Butte Miners 4-1 tonight at Alumni Coliseum, to take the Round 2 3-1. "It seems much more real now and we're really starting to realize we've got a great shot at this thing," said Cary Brown, who was named series MVP. "When we play our best we're as good as anybody in the BSBL Triple A." For the series, Brown had 6 hits for .462, with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, 5 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Santa Barbara Foresters don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Wichita Aviators - Baton Rouge Red Sticks series. Wichita leads the series 2 games to 1.
