Jue Brilliant, Fans 16 Sunday, August 17th , 2014 Edwards AFB Jets starter Hou-kang Jue brought his best stuff to Ballpark of Vallejo today against the Visalia Oaks, striking out 16 batters in his club's 7-2 victory. In a strong performance, the 32-year-old Jue gave up 5 hits in his 8 innings of work and issued 2 walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my curveball was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me." For the season Jue has logged 14 wins and 6 losses and struck out 331 batters in 224 innings while compiling a 2.33 ERA. View Boxscore |
