Aztecs Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Friday, August 22nd , 2014 There will certainly be no championship parade for the Mexico City Aztecs this season. They were already on the outside looking in for the playoff chase, but the club was officially eliminated from contention today. This is the club's 5th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2001. In the last 10 seasons, the Aztecs have missed the playoffs 8 times. In total, the Aztecs have missed the playoffs 40 times in their 49-year history. |
