Thunder Dominate, Sweep Round 1 Saturday, August 23rd , 2014 The Amarillo Thunder are on to the Round 2 after a convincing series win over the Alamogordo Broncos. Amarillo wrapped up the series sweep with a 10-4 win in the last game, to take the series 2-0. "We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Ralph Nash, who was named series MVP. For the series, Nash hit .333 with a .556 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Amarillo Thunder will play against the El Dorado Oilers in the next round.
