Week's Best Player Honored by PAAA Monday, August 25th , 2014 The Pioneer AAA presented its Player of the Week Award to Brownsville Impact second baseman Lee Walden. "His numbers speak for themselves," a club publicist said. "He's been really seeing the ball well." Indeed, Walden has. Last week he went 9 for 20, batted .450 with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs. Walden is batting .280 this season in 119 games with 20 home runs, 69 RBIs and 66 runs scored. He has 116 hits in 415 at-bats. |
