Butte Moves on to Round 2 Tuesday, September 16th , 2014 It's not often a losing player is named MVP of a series, but that's the situation Dwayne Miller found himself in tonight, as the Butte Miners beat his Santa Barbara Foresters to advance to the Round 2. Butte won the final game by a score of 5-3 at Alumni Coliseum and took the series 3-1. Despite his strong performance, Miller was not taking many positives away from the series. "I'm glad I played well, sure, but what good does it do us now?" The Butte Miners will play against the Memphis Chicks in the next round. Memphis won their series against the Anaheim Mice 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. View Boxscore |
