Memphis Silences Hilo, 7-0 Tuesday, May 24th , 2016 Boyd Howell was in a zone of his own most of the day, shutting out the Hilo Islanders on 5 hits. "He was too darn good for us today," grumbled Hilo manager after the 7-0 loss to the Memphis Chicks. Howell finished with 7 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing. In the postgame press conference, Memphis manager said Howell "had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. He just pitched his butt off."
