Thunderbirds Not Competitive in 7-0 Loss to Memphis Monday, May 30th , 2016 Boyd Howell of the Memphis Chicks toyed with the Tacoma Thunderbirds, as he shut them out, 7-0, at Ballpark of Memphis. He was almost untouchable, twirling a 3-hitter with 3 strikeouts and 1 walk. "I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Howell said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there." So far this season, Howell has a 5-5 record with a 2.15 ERA. View Boxscore |
