The Fresno Arktos first baseman shined through the month of May and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old hit .394 with 7 home runs, 17 RBIs and 18 runs scored. For the year, Chávez is batting .352 with 64 hits and 15 home runs. He has scored 32 times and driven in 37. |
