Norris Gets 5 Hits Friday, June 3rd , 2016 It was a parade of hits for John Norris of the Santa Barbara Foresters at Ballpark of Santa Barbara. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Norris finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Foresters to a win, 14-3. "Norris was really good and we were really bad," groaned Islanders manager . "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." John Norris singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
