Sunday, June 12th , 2016
It was not a good day at the plate for the Vancouver Monks. They came up empty when it mattered against Reno 911s left-hander Cisco Reyes, who scattered 5 hits across 9 innings and held the Monks scoreless.
"We had 5 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Vancouver manager said later.
Reyes chalked up 8 strikeouts and 2 walks in the 2-0 911s win.
In 16 starts this season, Reyes has picked up 8 wins while suffering 4 losses. He has pitched 116 innings, allowed 91 hits, struck out 103 and posted a 2.72 ERA.
