Sioux City Shuts Out Corpus Christi Behind Acosta, 3-0 Sunday, June 12th , 2016 Pepe Acosta scattered 8 hits over 9 innings, going the distance in the Sioux City Indians 3-0 victory over the Corpus Christi Hooks at Ballpark of Tulsa. The 30-year-old Acosta whiffed 10 and issued 1 walk. "Not perfect today, but I'll definitely take it," Acosta said. "I made a couple mistakes but thankfully they didn't get all of them and the guys behind me cleaned things up." This year, Acosta has compiled a 4-3 record with a 2.17 ERA in 8 starts.
