Cummings Electric in 4-0 Win Monday, June 13th , 2016 It wasn't easy but Jed Cummings made it look that way. Cummings silenced the Corpus Christi Hooks, 4-0, in a Sioux City Indians triumph at Ballpark of Tulsa. Despite the appearance of dominance, Cummings said that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 2 walks and 2 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." In 13 starts this season, Cummings has chalked up a 5-6 record and a 3.13 ERA. View Boxscore |
