Wanderers Crowned Kings of the Pacific A Pacific North Tuesday, September 10th , 2013 The outcome of the Pacific A Pacific North was in doubt for everyone around BSBL Single A. Everyone, that is, except the Walla Walla Wanderers. "We knew we would win it," said Walla Walla center fielder Dale Roach, after his team edged the competition to win the division by one game. "It might have been an extremely close race, but I don't think our players ever lost faith that we would get the job done." The club got the job done on the strength of a 89-55 record, which earned Walla Walla its 1st division title. The team will be seeking the 1st Round 3 in franchise history. "We're also confident about our chances in the playoffs," Roach added. "Don't count us out." |
