Blues 3B Page Suspended 4 Games Monday, July 27th , 2015 Dustin Page of Folsom got more than he bargained for when he was ejected for arguing a third strike call in yesterday's game against the Visalia Oaks. It turns out that the ejection wasn't the end of it. Today, the league decided to suspend Page for 4 games for his actions which included a rant filled with inappropriate language and throwing equipment on the field once he returned to the dugout. "Players need to show more restraint on the field," the league's announcement said. "Page obviously crossed the line and we had to take the proper action against him." To date this season, Page is hitting .203 with 7 home runs. |
