Parks Hurls 1-0 Shutout Monday, August 3rd , 2015 The Pearl City Divers ran into a buzzsaw at Ballpark of Eureka, as Eureka Redwoods starter Dennis Parks cut them down to size, 1-0, tossing a 5-hit shutout. "That's one thing that has never changed in this game -- pitching can control hitting," Redwoods manager told reporters after the game. "Dennis knows exactly what he's doing. He's not going to throw you a good pitch until you make him throw one." In the complete game win, the Eureka hurler doled out 4 walks and registered 9 strikeouts.
