Divers Out of Playoff Race Sunday, August 16th , 2015 Any hopes of a playoff berth for the Pearl City Divers this season were already a long shot at best. But even the longshot hopes are now gone, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. Pearl City last appeared in the postseason in 1973. This is their 42nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 51 times in their 53-year history. |
