Collins Twirls Oilers to Shutout Win Thursday, August 27th , 2015 The Grand Island Coppers struggled at the plate against Oilers hurler Andrew Collins, who shackled them on 4 hits while hurling a complete-game 8-0 shutout. "What can you say? We didn't hit well," said Coppers skipper in postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow." Collins finished the game with 11 strikeouts and 4 walks in an excellent mound performance. "He pitched real well," El Dorado manager said. "Andrew made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively."
