Green Mesas Dominate, Sweep Round 1 Sunday, September 13th , 2015 The Grand Junction Green Mesas outclassed the Brainerd Muskies in all facets of the game throughout the PA Round 1. The end result was a Grand Junction series sweep to advance to the Round 2, capped off by a 3-1 win in the final game. "We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said shortstop Henry Peterson, who hit .364 in the series. Peterson's standout effort garnered him MVP honors. He also put up a .417 on-base percentage and had 1 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Grand Junction Green Mesas don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Boise Redskins - Springfield Indians series. Springfield leads the series 2 games to 0. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
