Star of the Week Selected in PA Monday, May 23rd , 2016 Mike Jordan must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .400 clip, then the Lincoln center fielder finds out he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the PA Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Jordan batted .400 (10-for-25) with 4 home runs and 12 RBIs. This season, Jordan is batting .242 with 19 RBIs, 14 runs scored and 5 home runs. |
