Cotton Kings Torpedoed by Wilson in 2-0 Loss to Salem
Monday, May 30th , 2016
Charles Wilson bent a little, but he didn't break against the Casa Grande Cotton Kings. The Salem Senators pitcher hurled a 4-hit, 2-0 shutout in a fine performance, surrendering 2 walks and tallying 13 strikeouts.

"Charles is good at getting out of jams," Senators manager told reporters after the game. "He's almost more effective when he gets guys on base or gets behind in the count, because he uses your aggressiveness against you."

To date this season, Wilson sports a 1-0 mark with a 3.57 ERA in 1 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .239 batting average and has 25 strikeouts in 17.2 innings.
