Wednesday, October 14th , 2015
The manager of the Amarillo Thunder said he thinks Ezequiel Sánchez is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 22, but it will be hard to top the right fielder's 2015 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Pioneer A Outstanding Hitter Award.

His winning campaign featured a .268 batting average and a .367 on-base percentage this year. In 144 games he piled up 133 hits, 34 doubles, 3 triples, 35 home runs, 93 RBIs and 76 runs scored.

He received 20 first place votes out of a possible 24. Juan Ortíz of the Grand Junction Green Mesas finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Steve Harding of the Boise Redskins finished third with 1 first place vote.
