Pérez Holds Oaks Scoreless Friday, August 16th , 2013 It wasn't easy but the Medicine Hat Pills made it look that way. Starter Jorge Pérez shut out the Visalia Oaks despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Medicine Hat Pills cruised to victory, 2-0. Pérez allowed only 2 hits and rang up 7 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."
