Hartman Sizzles -- Smokes Senators for 5 Hits Thursday, August 22nd , 2013 Brian Hartman was sizzling at the plate today. In a game played at Beacon Ballpark, the Berkeley center fielder blistered the Salem Senators for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a 4-3 victory. "Hartman was too tough to get out today," Senators skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Brian Hartman doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 8th, doubled in the 10th, singled in the 12th, grounded out in the 14th and walked in the 16th.
