Oilers Burks Stops Coppers Friday, June 24th , 2016 El Dorado Oilers hurler Ken Burks was at his best as he beat the Grand Island Coppers, 1-0. "He just kept the ball down, did a good job, made his pitches," said Grand Island manager . "We didn't do a good job making adjustments, so we helped him out a little bit." Burks, who is tied for 3rd in the PA in wins with 9, fired a 4-hitter and totaled 6 strikeouts and 2 walks in the shutout performance.
