PCLA Honors Player of the Week Monday, June 27th , 2016 Pablo Valéncia seems to put youthful exuberance into every pitch he throws and last week he threw up numbers that even the oldest of veterans would look at with envy. That's why the 23-year-old hurler was chosen the Pacific A Player of the Week Award. Valéncia notched 2 wins for the Berkeley Beacon. He finished the week with 17 strikeouts and an ERA of 0.00 while holding the opposition to a .173 average. This season, Valéncia has a 12-1 record with a 1.35 ERA in 16 starts. |
