LB-R Blanked by Smiley, 10-0 Saturday, June 6th , 2015 Thomas Smiley of the HOU-R Lone Stars spun his magic on the LB-R Ports. He blanked them, 10-0, on 3 hits, registering 7 strikeouts and 5 walks. "The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Smiley said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down." Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, HOU-R skipper said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations." "Thomas pitched really well but this was a solid performance by everyone," he said.
