Cuellar Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Saturday, August 8th , 2015 The number just keeps getting higher. POR-R center fielder José Cuellar has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 2 hits in 3 at-bats as the POR-R won the game, 4-3, over the NO-R Pelicans at Ballpark of Augusta-Richmond. "Who knows how long it will go on?" NO-R manager said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." José Cuellar flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, was hit by a pitch in the 5th and singled in the 7th. On the year, Cuellar is hitting .373 with 115 hits, 5 home runs, 43 RBIs, .492 OBP and has scored 94 runs. |
