Pelicans Rojas Snags R2 Player of the Week Monday, August 10th , 2015 Not every ball that came off Salvador Rojas's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the NO-R Pelicans. For his exploits, Rojas was named this week's BSBL R2 Player of the Week award. The NO-R center fielder put up 12 hits in 28 at-bats and 3 home runs while hitting .429 with 13 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Rojas is batting .310 this year with 4 home runs, 21 RBIs and 21 runs scored. He has 31 hits in 100 at-bats. |
