KC-R Secures Top Spot in BSBL R1 West Division Friday, August 28th , 2015 The KC-R Jacks clubhouse more closely resembled a college party tonight as the team officially captured the BSBL R1 West Division. It was a raucous atmosphere as players and coaches alike celebrated the accomplishment. "It's not often you get to kick back and let loose with your teammates," said starting pitcher Terry Tillman. "We've earned the right to party a little bit. And then we can focus on getting it done in the playoffs." The team's manager said even the coaching staff can enjoy occasions like this. "I'm proud of my guys, they deserve this," he said. It's the 4th division championship for the team, and they will be seeking their 2nd BSBL Rookie League championship. |
