R1 Player of the Week Named Monday, September 7th , 2015 Ángel Mejía demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the BSBL R1 Player of the Week Award. The HOL-R center fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .478 average (11-for-23) with 6 home runs and 8 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. So far this season, Mejía has hit .345 with 32 home runs, 88 RBIs and scored 79 times. |
