NO-R Pelicans Clinch First in BSBL R2 West Division Monday, September 7th , 2015 Let loose, NO-R fans, your team has won the BSBL R2 West Division. The NO-R Pelicans have officially captured the crown, the 4th in franchise history. "We've got a team that can do it all and we think do it just as well as anyone in the league," said second baseman António Vargas. "I hope no one is taking us lightly once the playoffs start." Certainly the team's division crown will garner them a fair bit of respect, as the 69-45 record puts the club in position for the franchise's 1st BSBL Rookie League championship. "You never get tired of being in the playoffs," said the team's manager. "This is what you play for." |
