Bailey Batters PHX-R for 5 Hits Thursday, September 10th , 2015 It was a sensational day at the plate for David Bailey as he led the charge to a nifty 9-7 win over the Fireballs. The SF-R center fielder was pure misery for the PHX-R pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Bailey put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said , manager for the Fireballs, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." David Bailey singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit a sac fly in the 5th, singled in the 7th, struck out in the 9th, doubled in the 11th and hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 13th.
